DACHSHUNDS
What is there to say about Dachshunds? Independent, loving, fun loving, stubborn... it seems like a very contrary group of characharistics that make up the traits of a Dachshund, but that is what makes them so endearing. A Dachshund is the only dog I know that would flip you off it it had a middle finger. Those who have been owned by a Dachshund once will either always have Dachshunds or will swear they will never get one again... they are that type of dog. Never a 'yes man' type of canine, always opinionated, if you are looking for a dog with spirit and heart, a Dachshund would fit the bill admirely.
We raise both longhaired and shorthaired Doxies. At this time we do not have any wirehaired dogs; I do not plan on raising them in the near future.
Colors that we commonly have are the black and tan, chocolate and tan, red, shaded red, and all the dapples associated with these colors. I am excited to have several blue females; they can possibly bring us some beautiful blue and tans and isabellas in the near future.
We have pied, dapple and brindle pups...the color combinations and patterns are endless... much like a snowflake.
